Career Path
You will be implementing partial tasks and having your work reviewed by more experienced colleagues. We will teach you best practices of research and continuous development.
Mostly independent work on tasks is not an issue for you. You are also ready to help others within the team and do reviews.
The core responsibility for you is to develop and improve even the most complex capabilities of research team. Additionally, you will suggest new technologies and help your teammates grow. We expect you to lead 1-2 less experienced colleagues. You are detail-oriented and can break ideas into technical decisions. Communication with other teams is a must.
As a lead, you will orchestrate the development of multiple releases and implementations, make technical decisions and strive for improvement of the product. You know when to take your time and when 'simple & effective' will do just fine.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
What you will do
Research and development: work with and develop state-of-the-art NLP models to improve conventional market research practices.
ML Operations: model deployment and maintenance.
Basic Qualifications:
MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
2+ years of hands-on experience in predictive modeling, ML or large data analysis
Algorithm and model development experience for large-scale applications
Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, R/Matlab, Java
Comfortable working with teams in different time zones, (USA, Europe)
Good communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Transformer architecture and Attention mechanisms.
2 years of experience in NLP
Familiarity with spaCy, AllenNLP, Gensim
